Key Initiatives and Projects

  • Increased output and reduced costs by optimizing processes, investing in people, and measuring performance via department business metrics and scorecard
  • Supports sales efforts by providing recommendations to enhance customer’s operational procedures and equipment and service solutions
  • Facilitates new equipment solutions, such as single-serve brewing, innovative tea dispensing and improved brew basket funnel design

Tony D’Amico—Senior Vice President of Customer Direct Organization

As senior vice president of customer direct organization, Tony D’Amico provides strategic leadership for the equipment and service department as well as S&D’s direct-delivered customer business. In his role, D’Amico has the responsibility of developing and executing sales, delivery and service strategies for current and future customers.

After beginning his career with Exxon, D’Amico transitioned to the restaurant industry, managing several Taco Bell markets as part of PepsiCo’s former fast food division. Afterward, he joined Dunkin’ Brands where he held a number of field operations and corporate roles in his 15 years with the company, including a national leadership position tasked with reinvigorating Dunkin’s coffee business.

Under D’Amico’s leadership, the equipment and service department continues to provide best-in-class service. This department carries out a number of daily functions, including equipment procurement and sales, third-party service dispatching, parts and equipment receiving, warehousing and shipping, equipment refurbishment, technical support, and business analysis and reporting.
