Candied Coffee Bacon

The combination of two universally loved ingredients – coffee and bacon!

Preheat oven to 350°.  Place brown sugar, coffee, cayenne, and salt into a bowl and stir to combine.  Lay bacon slices on a jelly roll pan and sprinkle the coffee/sugar mixture evenly over bacon slices.

Cook bacon for approximately 15-25 minutes, until mahogany brown and candied.

Ingredients

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1 tsp. S&D ground coffee

1 tbsp. maple syrup

1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

12 oz thick cut bacon
