Smoky, Crunchy Chickpeas

Using roasted ground coffee to elevate a seasoning blend.

Preheat oven to 400°.  Toss dried chickpeas with oil.  Mix all dried spices together and evenly sprinkle over oiled chickpeas.  Spread on a 1/4 sheet and roast for 30 minutes or until golden and crunchy.


1 can chickpeas, rinsed, drained, and patted dry

1 tbsp. vegetable oil

1/2 tsp. ground S&D coffee

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1/2 tsp. seasoned salt

1/4 tsp. smoked paprika

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

1/4 tsp. ground cumin

1/8 tsp. cayenne
